Here are the details for the Candlelight Celebration and Potluck
1. Hopewell Hub is hosting. Please park in the back and come in the back door - if possible. We need to keep the area in front of the Fire Dept clear.
2. We will convene at 5 and go from there.
3. It will be a candlelit environment. If you have any used candles or candlesticks (Please make sure your name is on them) you can donate or lend - please drop them by the store by Wednesday Dec 20th. Parents - please prepare your little ones to be in a candlelit space.
4. Please bring a celebratory potluck dish and dinner service for food and drink for each member of your family /party. ALSO - Please bring a label re: the ingredients in your potluck dish so those with dietary considerations can make clear choices. ND(non-dairy) GF(gluten-free) VEG (vegetarian) VEGAN, etc....
5. Please consider what you/ your group might contribute to our entertainment - a skit, a song, a poem, a story, a treasured memory, leading a favorite carol, etc.... This is not required but can be so much fun... no judgement... we are just there to enjoy!
We will aim to have appropriate sharings for little ones first so those families that may need to leave early to get them to bed can enjoy the contributions.
Plus we have heard that some musicians may be joining us to play old time and Celtic music. It promises to be a grand night!
