February 3           Introduction to basic knitting
     * including basic stitches as well as a simple cast on and off techniques.
     * some abbreviated knitting terminology, reading patterns and gauge swatches, which will be supplemented with printed handouts.
    * Discussion more advanced ideas, such as knitting in the round, different knitting tools,
    * and inquiry into what kinds of projects of the participants would like to do.

February 17th      Beginning project   
     *  a simple scarf or cowl (TBD)
Feel free to start with this class if you already have some familiarity with basic knitting. 
 
Good for those 10 years and older. 
​Includes instruction, knitting needles and yarn.
