Fermentation Series We are offering a series of Fermentation Classes which can be taken sequentially or independently second Sunday of the months of June, July, August and September. If these times do not work for you, please let us know - we can do a pop- up class for 2 - 3 or more people.

June 9 - Kombucha/Jun, Kefir and Kvass Learn to make these three probiotic drinks. I will provide you with water kefir grains and some kvass to get started with and explain how to get a free kombucha or jun scoby.
July 14 - Sauerkraut and Kimchee Learn the basics of lacto - fermention in this hands on class by making sauerkraut and/ or kimchee.
August 11 - Sourdough Bread and Crackers Sourdough is simple and yet it is not, too. Learn the key elements of the sourdough bread-making process, get a sourdough starter and the Hub's sourdough cracker recipe.
September 8 - Pickles Learn how to preserve summer's abundance in tasty and healthful lacto brines.
