Come see the work of June Artist Linda Morelli.
Linda Workman-Morelli loves the romance of creating pit-fired vessels and sculptures. Since the 1980's she has been an educator and raised a family while pursuing her art career in the wee small hours before dawn. Every pit-load is an experiment as she strives to exploit the limited palette produced by fire and smoke. She has worn many hats in the Oregon Potters Association, including president, and she is a co-founder of the Art Harvest Studio Tour of Yamhill County. Her work has been sold in numerous galleries across the United States and it was featured in four "Street of Dreams" homes. Images of her work are in Hand-Built Ceramics, edited by Kathy Triplett. Her work is currently available at Art Elements in Newberg, Oregon. Linda is thrilled to present this body of wall plaques that have spent years on the back burner of her imagination.
